Presenters:
Joe Grandis, CFA, is an Associate Partner on Aon’s fixed income team. He is responsible for conducting due diligence on a variety of fixed income managers, with an emphasis on the core plus, unconstrained and long duration sectors. He works closely with consultants and clients on a global basis to advise on the structure and selection of fixed income funds for their portfolios. Prior to joining Aon in 2017, Grandis was a Senior Manager Research Analyst for BMO Global Asset Management. While at BMO, Grandis also spent several years as a Senior Portfolio Strategist in their Private Bank with a focus on manager research, asset allocation and portfolio analytics. Other experience includes time at Capital Resource Management as an Investment Analyst and JPMorgan Private Bank as a Portfolio Manager. Grandis holds a B.A. degree in finance from The University of Northern Iowa and an M.B.A. in finance, accounting and econometrics & statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder and an active member of CFA Society Chicago.
Emily Hahn is an Investment Consultant at Aon. She is a member of the US Fixed Income Research Team and specializes in underwriting fixed income strategies for OCIO and Advisory clients. She also does collaborative research projects with other GIC-I Investment teams, such as DE&I working group, mortgage derivatives, and structured credit. She has a background in manager investment research across different asset classes, day-to-day treasury management with derivatives and interest rates, and wealth management and investment compliance. She is an active and engaged member of the CFA Chicago AG Women’s Network Group. Also, she is currently a Master of Science in Finance student at John Hopkins University and a CFA candidate. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance.
Brian Nallon is an associate partner within our Wealth Solutions practice based in Aon’s Chicago office. He is a member of the firm’s investment consulting and global operations and product management groups. Nallon works with a number of different client types, including corporate pension plans, corporate defined contribution plans, and endowment funds. In addition to his client consulting responsibilities, Nallon is a member of the firm’s GIPS Committee, and supports the firm’s global operations and product management groups. Nallon holds the FRM, CAIA, CIPM, and RPA designations and is pursuing the CFA designation. Brian is also a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals and CAIA Association.
Jacob Punnoose, CAIA, is an investment consultant and partner within our Investments practice. In this role he consults with institutional plan sponsors on the structuring of investment programs, establishment of investment objectives, and selection of investment management organizations. In addition to his client responsibilities, he is a member of the firm’s Investment Operations Committee and leads the U.S. Client Service Team. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Punnoose had investment experience as a research analyst covering hedge funds for an alternative asset research firm. He has 25 years of experience in the investment industry and first began working in the industry in 1996. Punnoose previously led stable value research at the firm, and in his role, he developed the Aon Investments Stable Value Quarterly publication and has been a speaker at various stable value industry conferences. He previously served as chairperson of the firm's U.S. Manager Evaluation Committee.
