Investment Trends Through a Diverse Lens

Moving Forward: Creating a More Equitable and Inclusive Environment

Please note that this event was originally scheduled for June 30th and will still take place through Zoom. Login information will be provided in the reminder email closer to the event

Hosted by: CFA Women's Network

This event was originally planned for March in honor of Women’s History Month, and then the world, as we knew it, changed. The discussion of gender diversity in financial services remains critical, however the Coronavirus and global protests seeking racial equity have put an equally urgent focus on thinking beyond gender to create a diverse and inclusive workforce.

In this webinar session we will hear from a panel of leaders who will discuss the potential implications for each of us as we move beyond quarantine but still face health concerns and struggle with how to create a more equitable and inclusive environment for employees and clients. The conversation will include the discussion topics below, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive polling and Q&A with the panelists.

  • Is this a moment or is this the start of a movement that (finally) drives the financial industry to diversity?
  • Have client expectations of wealth managers changed as it relates to gender and racial diversity, equity and inclusion?
  • Will the remote work structure become normalized and what are the related benefits and drawbacks?
  • How does each of us – no matter our level in our respective organizations – become agents of change?
